Preheat oven to 350º. Toss apple slices, a small amount of water, and raisins in a large bowl. Let sit while you prepare the rest of the ingredients. Divide among 4 individual, buttered ramekins or oven-proof baking dishes. Combine brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apple mixture. Bake for 25 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Top each bowl with a scoop of ice cream or whipped topping and enjoy.
